Question Do you think professional anglers get all their gear and tackle for free?

Do you think professional anglers get ALL their tackle and gear for free?

Think again! I am starting a new series on YouTube that highlights exactly what I am purchasing and why from stores like Tackle Warehouse, Tackle Addict, Bass Pro Shop and any other small town tackle stores I come across in my travels. A Tour level bass pro being totally open and transparent discussing the actual products I am buying and intend to use straight out of the bag or box! Keep in mind that I am a low budget angler on Tour as well compared to a lot of guys! I came up with this idea while doing my taxes and counting the massive pile of receipts(while getting dirty looks from my wife). Let me know what you think about the first video and how you think I can improve on this series.

Great concept, going through the same process right now.

Pretty sure I still have a few baits you gave me years ago.

Great job on the channel lately, good topics and a real feel.

I've always wondered why the tackle companies wouldn't help out the pros more than the do. I understand the top ten or so get lots of free stuff, but I always get a kick out of it to see them catch fish on something else and at weigh-in say they caught them on something else. I couldn't do that. Then there are the guys that get a pro discount of 10-30% and are expected to push the product. So the pro saves a few bucks and if he does well at a tourney with that lure it will sell out immediately with no kickback to the pro. Not fair I think. Professional fishing is not for the faint at heart that's for sure, it's a tough deal.
