Mega 360 Question

I noticed my M360 imaging was a bit off angle when I was paralleling a sea wall and I looked and it was not "pointed" or aligned with the boat properly. I did't think too much about it but I did wonder how it happened. Anyway I loosened up the mounting bracket screws and reset it properly so it would be centered again. 2 days later after I just replaced the trolling motor batteries I noticed it happened again. When I got the boat on my trailer I noticed that I could "swivel"/move the whole head of the M360 unit along w the "transducer" part. I'm guessing this is abnormal? Any suggestion on how to fix it? or what I should be doing?

This is not a unique issue. Mine and few others here had this problem. You can send it in to HB and they will repair your transducer or you can do it yourself. HB suggests you let them do it as you would have no future warranty issues. What has happened is the epoxy on the threads of the transducer and/or shaft have failed. There is a thread on this forum that goes into detail on how to do it yourself.

It is an easy self repair, but like you I felt more comfortable letting HB do it to make sure terms of warranty were not compromised. HB will have back to you within a week.

That's awesome-I'm filling out the repair form now and on hold on the phone to get a RMA and any other info needed.
