Have you checked the throttle plates for wot? Also while doing so, did you push on the bottom plate to see if it would move while holding at wot?
can this be done from the motor or do i have to hold hotfoot down to check it
Motor cowl off, airbox off. You sitting in the boat with an unobsrtive view of the throttle plates. Depress either the throttle or the hot foot to WOT. The plates need to be perpindicular to the carb bodies. On the 60* They all move together.
Ahhh...C Man...still around and still solving issues. LOL I love it. I haven't been around in a while, but the ol' 200 HP ETEC is still the BOMB baby. What a motor...the only complaint with it now is that it takes so darn long to start. When I first got it I just touched the key and Va-Rooom...now it takes 40 forevers. Like 1.5 seconds. <sigh> I guess I'll get used to it.![]()
I still haven't forgot the way you helped me out man. You're one of a kind....see ya. Gotta go get ready for Tropical Storm Dan.![]()
