I was fishing the Upper Niagara River the same day. Caught a couple 3 and 4 pounders that I thought were big fish. Not anymore though!!!! That is one awesome fish. Congratulations!!!!

That's really nice for up North, but almost common down South in Tennessee and Kentucky. David Hayes has the world record smallmouth, even though IGFA doesn't recognize it. Google it to see all the evidence in support of the fish as the unprecedented world record. BTW, it weighed 11-15!!!WOW!!!
