Fished a tournament in OK last Saturday. Finished with 11.5 lbs. Fish were on shallow rocky points. They had been biting a shallow crankbait, topwater, and big worm, and buzzbaits, real well. They also were on the shady part of most docks (front part) in the upper part of the lake (more stained water). Day of tournament fish seemed to want a senko unweighted right on bank or out on point in a couple of feet of water. Better fish were caught in 4-8 ft on soft plastics. A few good fish were caught in the river on wood. Some of the better areas were bank by Paradise cove, toppers, long bay, flat rock creek and snug harbor. River areas were mouth of spring creek and near mouth of other creeks farther up river.
