I'm on the same subect with my motor right now, I had a 1999 225 H.O. and I have a factory manual for it. The website http://evinrude.cust.shopatron.com/" say's 1999 225 H.O. should have # 30 for the idle/intermediate air bleed and # 72D for the high. "Except HPL " which is the first three letters in (HPLEEN). Well my current carbs have 74D's for the high and #30 for the idle air bleed. Now I dont know if someone changed them but I surely I didnt!. What I wanna know is what is the next size to lean out the mid and top end on my motor now? My powerhead is no longer an H.O. it's just a standard 225 .![]()
