    question for SEAHORSE

Kind of long SORRY!!!!!Seahorse- I swapped out my L2 for a M2 LU--- Driver Error-- But that's another story (LOL) 2007 225 ETEC HO.--- Dealer did not change the Rear groumet, I sent you the pic and you confirmed that the groumet had not been changed, they will do that this week----- Question-- -- Is there anyway of telling if they have done what needed to be done, because I have heard the horror stories of water getting into cyl's and ruining motors from not having the right things installed.---- Please help -- I need a new groumet/ exhaust anything else??? How can i tell if they installed the right swap parts??? I have heard on this board of glue being used to make sure elbo stays attached to groumet and also on other end where it attaches to exhaust housing--- your thoughts?

    Re: question for SEAHORSE (fisheye58)

The new grommet is reinforced for the higher water pressure. If they install the clamps correctly while the grommet is in position, there should be nothing to worry about.
