Mid-TN SWL Largemouth

I caught this 11-3 largemouth earlier this spring on a mid-Tennessee lake. The 9/16-oz Firetiger Perch tandem-willowleaf Secret Weapon Quickstrike also accounted for a 4-, 6-, and 7-pound bass the same afternoon.... Joe

I can mention that it was about six miles west of Nashville and that you have to drag a canoe or kayak to get back into the area I was fishing, but I'd rather not give too many details in order to keep my buddies away from this honey hole.

That's a native largemouth, too. Bass that size are pretty rare in Tennessee, all right. It was the biggest I'd caught there. Rusty Strange took a 10-pound, 9-oz on Percy Priest the other evening on a Secret Weapon Sidearm, I think it was, and my uncle Al once caught a largemouth that broke the state record not too far from where I was that day.
