Looking to pick up a Jenko Gambler on sale at TW for chatterbaits. Mostly 3/8oz and 1/2oz. Looking at either the 7’3” medium or medium heavy. The lure ratings I saw threw me off. The 7’3” MH fast is rated the same as the 7’3” H moderate fast. Just wondering if anyone has some experience with these rods and could recommend either the M or MH model. I’ve read they are a bit on the “heavy” side.
Just throwing this out there, ALX has a new chatterbait rod called a Rumble. It is not heavy.
I can attest that the Rumble is by far the best chatterbait rod that I've ever handled...by a long shot. I got my first one late in the year and I am anxiously awaiting the "prime" chatterbait bite in a few months!!
