    Trolling motor recessed foot tray

    I’m looking for experienced fisherman’s Recommendations for a recessed trolling motor foot tray for my 1996 champion elite any advice or stories are very welcome, I researching so I buy the best one the first time.

    I don’t remember the brand but tackle warehouse used to sell a fiberglass tray and you could pick the color. That’s what I put in mine and if it wasn’t for the screws it would look like a factory recessed tray.

    Got one on my Ranger. Only thing is if you are going to put Ultrex or one of the other new trolling motors on. Make sure you get the tray that will accept the foot pedal. Mine is an old one before there was an Ultrex. It is to narrow for the Ultrex pedal. I had to shim my footpedal up a couple inches. You will love it.
