    alabama rig regulations in texas?

Hey guys. I am going to falcon in feb. and I was wondering if there is a hook limit on the alabama rig in texas. Example: Arkansas five hooks is legal, but in missouri you can only have three on an A rig.
    Thanks

Mr. Big Tone, sorry but us boys in Tejas do things the old fashion way & do it well... Do up a TEXAS RIG & fish it right & you'll do fine

Re: alabama rig regulations in texas? (BigTone,Ar.)

Tone, I had that same question awhile back and I emailed the Texas Parks and Wildlife about it and had asked them that same question....there reply was it is allowed...the regulation for it in Texas is stated up too 100 hooks for a single line...and that came from their head ranger....the only regulation I've heard on it, is not State regulated but it depends on the tournament trail or tournament that your fishing ie; Medias Bass will not allow the A-Rig in it's tourneys....

Hope this helps ya bud. Have fun n enjoy n be safe....!!!

There are so many trees in that lake that you will most likely lose it on your first or second cast unless you're fishing humps out in the 20 to 30 foot range. But, that's where the really big girls are located at right now anyway. It will work down there though, as I had a friend tell me he tried it down there and actually had two double digits on at the same time. Better put it on some really strong braid though.
