    Setting dynamic lake level

I have not used this feature yet and the Garmin web site is a little lacking on how to use it. So do you have to know the current lake level you are wanting to change? If so what is the site you have to go to to try to find it. Once you know the current level how do you make the adjustments?

I’m new to this also. But the few times I’ve used the feature it works well. Gotta go to Lakes.Garmin.Com type in the lake you’re planning on fishing and make sure it has the dynamic lake feature if it doesn’t it won’t work. Then what I do at least out west here is I’ll google the lake ie. Pine Flat Lake water level and it will show full pool elevation and current pool elevation ie. 800’ full pool current pool 750’ so -50’ go into the dynamic lake settings and put in -50’ and the map will adjust accordingly. There may be an easier way but this works for me. Hope it helps .

Yes, it's just a plus or minus adjustment. You can look lake levels up as BASStard indicates, or simply adjust while on the lake by sitting on an existing contour line, say the 10 feet line, look at the actual depth on sonar (say 8 feet), then adjust by minus 2.
