    Charger trouble?

I’ve recently bought a used boat, 2019 model that has a Dual Pro, 3 bank charger. Model PS3. With all the breakers on the boat off and the charger not plugged up I can hear a click/ popping noise coming from the charger. Kinda sounds like what I refer a heat breaker clicking in and out. Is this normal for this charger?
    Thanks

What kind of boat? Bass Cat used to have a timer that turned compartment lights on and off if I remember correctly.

Doesn’t sound normal to me, especially I’d the charger is unplugged. Call Dual Pro or Vexus and ask.

It’s the monitor for the Bluetooth app/battery gauge. They posted someplace that it is normal but that being said my buddy’s does it and it does pull the battery’s down some over time

I don’t know what it is but I’ve seen two new Z520 Rangers that have that sound. I’d say it’s normal.

I’ve been unplugging it after they come up to full charge. Better to just leave it on?

"Most people never hear or notice the clicking. Your charger is performing as designed. This is a new feature. When it’s quiet, you may hear the charger clicking every few minutes as is checking the voltage/status of the batteries. We appreciate you choosing PCS /Dual PRO again as your charger.

Let us know if you have any other questions"

For what it's worth, that's " un" what they told me. MY charger continues to click on and off after charging is completeanywhere from 15 seconds to about 1 minute. All switches andfuse box switches are off, no change. Even unplugged itcontinues to click. 3 days unplugged still clicking and showsbattery draining. Now if it's unplugged do you really think it should still be clicking?

If it's plugged in it will turn various banks on briefly and frequently, if unplugged it will frequently click and clack as it monitors each battery. Normal and annoying, and yes you can hear it while you fish.
