If you can't run with the big dogs, just stay on the porch.

I guess that leaves me out. Since I just bought a new E-TEC, I am now poorer than gully dirt.![]()

Good morning my friend,
The new engine is fantastic! Gas mileage is great, starts at the flick of the key switch, no smoke, no smell, and most importantly the boat handles and ride better. It is amazing that this engine is mounted in the same holes as the old motor, the bottom holes #4, placing both engines as high on the transom as possible and how different the boat ride between both engines.
Old engine nose high altitude at cruise speed and bumpy ride in the least bit of choppy water.
New engine more of a bow level altitude at cruise speed, a smoother and dryer ride in choppy waters with no spray, all around good investment.
However, I had bad luck yesterday. Peetie-pie always preps the boat for launching and loading, while I either park the truck, or fetch the trailer when we come in to dock.
Yesterday she forgot to raise the motor and I bent to blades on my new Rebel prop.![]()

as I pulled the boat out of the water, only had this prop out two times.

At any rate, I suppose I will just have to send it out for repair.
