    Please help I’m at a loss low rpm

    I got a 1995 champion 190 with a evinrude 200 E200stleoa has a 4 blade 25 p new power head old one lost ring lands in number 2 so I rejected num 2 carb new stater new rectifier new powerpack carbs rebuilt perfect link n sync reeds are good new check valves set wot timing on muffs by moving timer base to stop and setting to 16 motor calls for 18 deg there is no jack plate but it only has one more hole to go to top with just me 3/4 tank of fuel I only get close to 5k rpm and 58 mph gps trimmed out to max compression 95 to 98 on all 6 I was told is normal for v6 loopers anyone have any ideals I’m at a loss I don’t think a 25 p is too much comes out of hole good with lots of grunt idles smooth as silk have changed tach with same reading only thing not changed is timer base and Vro kinda wondering about VRo fuel pump i took it apart and the inlet where the pulse hose goes I could hardly blow thru it with pump apart not sure if that’s normal or not It has new parts in it please help lol

    You have a lot of stuff going on there pards. Way more than what can be sorted out over words on the internet.

    The proper setup for what you're running is a worked 24 Raker, 2nd hole up. Should be 65 mph at 5,600 rpms. You can't run mounted flat on transom any higher, it'll be prop slip crazy.

    I am knowledge free on Johnrudes, but Fred (Championman) might can help you sort out your motor issues.

    We will always recommend a known good setup and see what it does from there, I don't think you're anywhere near that now.
