    At a loss

Okay...I got a 1993 Javelin 363 Fish n Ski...just replaced my blown 120 with an '82 115 Johnson. Mounted the engine all the way down on the transom and it was really plowin through the water...couldn't even see the cav plate. Came home and raised it up one hole...went back to the lake and now it acts as if I raised it 3 inches or something. Can't give it hardly and trim at all before the prop comes out of the water. The 120 that was on it was mounted all the way down and it performed well so I naturally assumed the 115 would need to be mounted all the way down too. Measured propshaft height where it's currently mounted, and it's right at 5 3/4 below pad which would mean about 6 1/2 with it all the way down like it was before. Any ideas????

    swapped props...made a huge difference...went from a 13 x 19 3 blade stainless to a 12 1/2 x 19 4 blade aluminum...can trim it more now before the prop comes out of water
