I'm Just a Little Excited

Me and the Boy are getting up early Friday and heading to Zapata. Gotta make a couple stops to see clients on the way, but should be in town by 5. We get to fish with Tommy Martin for 2 days and staying at Speedy's. I promised the Boy if he did well in school, I would take him to Falcon. It must have motivated him cause he made the Dean's list and Phi Theta Kappa.

I plan to take some short videos and lots of pics if the fish cooperate. Anyone else going to be at Falcon this weekend?

I talked to him today as he was headed to Speedy's and he did not mention this; not that it did not happen. He said he had a trip with a lure manufacture tomorrow and he is fishing with a buddy of mine and his son on Friday.

This is the third year in a row that I have made this trip with Tommy and Speedy, but the first with the Boy. I can't wait to get there.

Just got home from Falcon. Wow....I gotta move to Zapata. The Boy got his new PB with a 9.36#. I will try a post pics a little later although I did not take as many pictures as I should have. Tommy was a hoot and enjoyed being with him on the lake for the weekend.
