its definately not an easy fishery, lots of fish just hard to come by a keeper. for 40 bucks you gotta chance to win 600. not bad if you ask me![]()
Most peeps are saying they are catching 20 -30 fish an evening. I just have to figure out how to catch those 3-4lbs everyone else is catching!![]()

You won the tourney, again, right?![]()
The Sabine is actually a very fun place to fish. I grew up fishing this place with my Dad and its just crazy the fish you can catch. Not to mention you can run to so many different places and catch- you can stay on the Sabine, or run to the Bayou in Orange or the one in Bridge City, take off to the Lousiana side of things and if you want to make a long run you can even get to the Neches. Excellant place to fish and I am just happy to see some tournament action going on now. Ever since I graduated I have been saying that we need to have some tournaments and now we got.
Just ready for the Saturday ones to start.
Chris the first Sat. tourney is going to be on the 16th of July at the Simons boat ramp.
Yeah I talked with Simon the other day, but Im going to miss this one of course wouldnt you know because I have to take the ole lady on a vacation.
