    Westward Ho!

Will be heading out to Odessa next Monday to attend a judges conference for three days. The TMCEC is putting us up at the MCM Elegante. This will give Trish and I some time to get away from all the kids and grandkids for a few days. Have already made plans to detour out of the way, and stop by Jerry's while heading that direction for a short visit.

We made it safely to Odessa for my training class, and while heading out this way stopped in and visited with Jerry for about an hour. Other than going out for something to eat this hotel room looks as nice as anyother place to stay while here, it is just darn hot outside to be venturing out.

I gotta make the same trip within the next couple weeks and want to stop by Ivie. I wonder if someone would take me fishing if I brought nothing but a smile while fully clothed and a little cash? I have never fished the lake.

It isn't everyday one gets to drive by the Midland International Airport. I think we brought a lot of the dirt back with us on our car, the drive between Midland and Sterling City was a bit dusty.
