We have pretty much drawn down our COVID stash of meat, canned goods and dry goods. I bought a case of canned pears that are about gone. I used to look forward to getting a can of those in C-rations in late sixties. Brought back some memories

We have a walk in freezer, a butcher shop. Raise our own livestock, and can & freeze a lot of vegetables. We have a co-op;with other ranchers and farmers. Time wise? A very, very long time. We are a backwoods people. On our own? Years. We have two oil rigs,on our land. Not rich... but; we don't pay for fuel. If we can't build it, we barter.

Probably 3 months but a step out the door and a bang stick equals more food "normally "

Indefinitely as others here have said with food, fuel, and everything else, along with the equipment and knowhow to defend it. No sympathy for anyone who is not prepared either.

2 freezers good pantry, and a whole lot of critters running around, we could do it for several months. If the Whu Flu did not wake folks up, then you get what you get.

I’ve been waiting a month & half for my fridge to be delivered, guess I’d die pretty quickly if I had to rely on one.

We were in Portland for the weekend. GF got an expense paid trip for employee of the year.

    Are you anywhere near Portland?

Edit: Just saw that you are in Hampden, not real close to Portland.

Meat prices way up so we have not been buying much and with hurricane season, I lost a bunch during Ike so I tend to run low this time of year. We ate all we could but I lost a lot of fish and deer meat. I would say 2-3 weeks for us right now. But I can surely go on a meat run for some fish anytime really.

We were prepared for about 2 months with freezer items, but about a week ago I came home from work to find the freezer had went out and everything was warm to the touch. I bagged up 5 trash bags of meats.

About a month, but feeding 3 teenage boys so that total is severely shortened right now. Probably more like 3 months if it was just the wife and I.
