    250 SHO 4 stroke

    Can someone give me the total height measurement of this motor? I am considering purchasing but I am concerned with it fitting in my garage. Thank you in advance.

    Diagram in service manual shows 70.3" fully down. Add about 6" to top of cowling when trimmed up.

    Consider when on the trailer and the engine is tilted! It is a good bit higher.

    Find a dealer close by that has Yamahas on their boats & measure it yourself. Boat & trailer has a lot to do with it, especially if you're running or going to run a jackplate.
