    Storms!!

I know there was some bad stuff going on at Mineral Wells this evening. Hope everything's OK at the J & A!!

We had tornados and baseball size hail here. I know two of our vehicles, one was Diane's Traverse, have broken windshields. I'm sure everything has a bunch of hail dents!! I'm just going to wait til tomorrow and see what else is tore up!! I'm sure the roof is beat all to hell!!

Hate to hear that Larry. Everything built about 3 or 4 miles east of me. All we got was a dust storm.

My team is working to restore cell sites in the area around OKC affected by yesterday's tornados. Last I heard last night, there were 10 confirmed deaths and more expected. for those affected by these storms.

    CRAZY ARSE WEATHER

Came home from dinner with Trudy just in time to prepare for the storm.
We gathered couch cushions and prepared for the worse. When the hail came, it was up to baseball size and the most velocity I have EVER witnessed. I kid you not, I thought it was comeing though the roof at times.
Both trucks got the crap beat out of them, our roof sustained damage and is leaking. The eye of what has yet to be named a tornado was less than a 1/4 mile from our house.

Here's what I was looking at when the sirens were screaming, and the TV was predicting Irving was the place of impact at 183 & Loop 12.
This intersection is less than 1/2 mile from our house

    Re: Storms!! (Bobs21X)

Bobby lives about 3/4 mile from me, and I too thought the large hail was going to go through the roof. I've been around 63 years, and have never seen hail that big. I swear some of it was as big as softballs!! I haven't seen any leaks in my roof so far, but I'm going to wait until it dries up to get up there and look around. Every vehicle (4) have some damage, but it isn't as bad as it could have been. I just had new windows put in the house, and it appears all of them are ok, the siding has a couple of holes in it. Diane just put out about $300 worth of new plants in her beds, and it looks like they made it through pretty good. Oh well, a lot of people got it a lot worse than I did, and nothing happened that cannot be fixed. That's the good thing!!
