Got it ordered

Ordered my Power Pole this morning, hoping to have it on for the mini. I knew those things work but after last weekend I learned real fast that they WILL help you catch more fish. I really don't think we could have done what we did without it.
Besides just holding us in a good spot so we could fan cast the area in the wind, when working down a bank and 1 of us breaks off or needs to retie he just hits it until the retieing was done so we could both cover the bank instead of blowing by. Need to eat lunch but don't want to move from your spot, hit the PP. Found so many uses for the thing,,,just had to have 1...

I fish where ever I can find fish. Just another tool to help out, wasn't sure how much I would use one till last weekend. If you can find trees in deeper water with the tops being no more than 7.5' under the surface I will be able to drop it in a tree and hold me there...Not going to work in every situation but it will help in a lot of them if the wind is blowing.

Probably gonna have to put one on my wish list as well. Only thing is I don't think I'll be able to back the boat in the garage with one on it.

All you have to do is lower it a little... Can't do that with a Talon.

On a Talon you can remove it. Bad problem ,,they sometimes fall off when going down the highway. Power Pole looks like the way to go. Super stout and have proven themselves.

May have to lower it mor than a little ... on this boat I have to lower the motor to get it in the garage ... got the skint cowling to prove it ...

I'm getting it here at Sandy Creek. Talked to Fun & Sun and they were a little cheaper (By $40 I think) but it would have cost me more than that in fuel to get it there...Total will be $2505 tax and all. That"s the 8' Pro series with all the switches, Remote, and mounting plate, labor and all.

Actually got it on there so if WB ever goes with me and gets his hands on the TM, the cowling will be safe as we tiptoe through the forrest.

I bet you'll appreciate those things after the first time out Stomp I drool over them but just can't justify an accessory that is 1/2 the cost of my boat

Also, still not a bank beater. Stick it in 8' and fish out towards main lake..

If you have the remote with lanyard, you can use your power pole to lift your azz back into the boat if you accidentally fall in.

I wouldn't have thought about that. That thing is pretty stout, but it won't stop a GMC with a Duramax. Just don't ask me how I know that.
