Fishing for Freedom 2011....

Ok guys the dates are set for this years Fishing for Freedom. Gonna be October 14-15 Friday n Saturday. Friday nigt will be dinner n banquet at the Killeen Convention center. Saturday will be the tournament on Belton Lake at BLORA.....

Guest speakers n fishermen will be Bassmaster Classic winner Alton Jones as well as Gary Klein, Zell Rowland and Keith Combs as well as a few others too.....

This tournament is free as well. NO entry fee just your time and boat. There are some great raffle items as well that will be given out too.

Sign-up and registration starts 1 September 2011. Websites n links for registration will be up n posted soon.

Save the date if y'all wanna come out and enjoy a nice fun filled day on Belton Lake and the greatest Armed Services in th world.....

Mikey, there ain't no "one is more important than the other" crap going on here.
The T Bend Rally has NOT been officially scheduled

I threw out the mid October date only for the die hard hunters, mainly Stompy as a matter of fact.

Personally, I'd rather the Fall Rally be in November and this is a fishing club here not a hunting club.

Majority will rule in the end and we ain't cast a vote yet.

Hey, I told you to make the date for the Fall Rally as you see fit. I told you it was 50/50 for me even if it was on the date we discussed..

Our max is around 250 boaters n 250 non-boaters......some of the boaters are soliders as well.....figure around 400-450 contestants usually....

I have also fished this for the last 2 yrs, you cant find a better bunch of guys to fish with. You cant beat the entry fee, the prizes and the soldiers you meet.
