    Hubbard Creek

In the past 8 days I've got 5.05 inches of rain here at the ranch south of the lake about 5 miles. I went by the ramp this morning and it has come up very little. In fact, it doesn't look like it has come up at all, the plastic dock at the 180 ramp is still sitting on dirt.. Going to take a flood or a couple of years to put any water back in that lake...You fellers in Abilene need to take less showers and quit watering your yards..

If ya got downwind of WB at the rally you'd know they are down to showering about once a week

You have to remember most of the cattle ranchers have dams built own their land to create small lakes. Those will have to fill before HC see any good runoff from these small rains. I am not being critical of the ranchers. I understand they have to do this to have water for their cattle but it sure hurts our West Texas water shed. At least it will help the grasses and crops.

The creeks I have, have been running real hard and they run into Sandy. You also have to remember that probably less than 5% of the run off goes to earth ponds. It's not so much the ponds as it is all the locks in Hubbard and Sandy creek. Got to fill one lock before it heads down stream to fill the next lock.
