Fished Ivie Saturday.......

......caught two about two pounds.
Was fishing 15-25ft.
I just cant seem to catch crap these days...


On a side note Boomer Sooner was well represented at Elm Creek....
There were alot of Okies down.
You would have loved it Craig!


On another note I dont know if it was because of the lack of water in the lake or just novice boaters but I have never seen such poor boating ethics....several times two or three other boats and us would be on a long point or something like and boats would drive on plane right through the middle of everyone.

Maybe I'm just getting old.

Anyway had a good day on the lake with a friend and had an awsome breakfast and luch at Jerry's place.

Good to hear ya got out Jeff, even if it wasn't the most productive day.
On the boatin ethics, we see that all too often down here. Bunch of yahoos blazing past, 40 feet away, on plane, under the bridge with their stereos blaring pulling a boarder... Reminds me of the walmart parking lot

Jeff, we are in the same catogory on not being able to catch chit. I think it is pressure and lake levels. As for the Okie thing. NOT!!!! We were there last weekend and I noticed the same thing with the boat running on plane within 30 yards of us. I think it the non West Texas crowd. The metroplex folks think they are doing everything right. It is a way of life on their home waters. I hope I am wrong.
