    Changing reeds?

I have a 1996 Evinruden Model LE200SLEDR want to know if putting news reeds would help with the motor bogging down after I sit at a spot and fish for 30 mins to 1 hour. It will start and idle fine but when I go to the next spot and push on the hot foot it wants to bogg down and die...while start right up....replaced bulb with OMC (yellow) and pumps up firm. Also I can hit the choke 1 or 2 quick hits and it's up and running great. same with the first run of the day but after it's a no go but will if I hit the choke. Thanks for any input anyone has.

I'd say a sync n link would be in order. But it's you money so go for it. If you are going to install new reeds put in carbon fibre though either Boyesen or Chris Carson's.

Don't think the reeds are gonna solve your issue.

Sync n link( spelling?) is where you get the pick up point of the timing advance in "sync" with the throttle progression, thus allowing it to advance timing at the correct point of the throttle advance. If this is off, it will make a WORLD of difference to the performance of your boat.
