Upgraded the tent!

Wife and I decided to upgrade our tent. We have a really nice 10 man tent (which is really comfortable for the two of us) but decided that it might be nice to have a home on wheels before I retire later next year. We got a really good deal on this lightly used 5er, the previous owners took exceptionally good care of it and I expect to get many more years of good service from it. Have our first week scheduled the second week of June. Looking forward to a relaxing week and some quality time with my better half. The site we reserved is close enough that I can come back and get the boat and they have a dock with electric as well. Have not fished since October so I am more than ready to hit the water!

First outing starts tomorrow, 7 days at a lakeside campground. Have a dock reserved for the boat (with electricity) as well. Weather is supposed to be pretty nice with only a couple days of rain expected. Should be a very nice break!

Just got back from a week in the “upgraded tent”. Everything worked great and the wife had a great time. I even ended up catching a couple nice smallies!

Thanks! The AC was nice to have for a couple days and the heater was nice to have the other days. We experienced highs in the 80s and highs near 60 while camping so we got to thoroughly test both systems.
