    1994 Johnson 150 Faststrike ?? 2 stroke oil synthetic blend

    1994 Johnson 150 Faststrike #03605069 Last year, I purchased motor oil and I noticed it read synthetic blend will this harm my motor in any way? I am unable to locate regular premium oil that I've always used in this motor. Now I am only able to locate the synthetic blend from OMC. Please, can anyone help me with this question. A local dealer didn't seem to know. Thank you for any assistance.

    Are you talking about xd-50?? But a quick answer, no it won't hurt the engine.

    Any TCW-3 is fine and as long as the oil meets the OBIA standards you are fine. A good quality 2-cycle oil is fine. Welcome to BBC!
