I have a 2001 Johnson carburated motor on a 19' Javelin Renegade. Recently I have had some motor problems that have been corrected but still am having an issue with low rpm's. The prop I am using is a Raker 14 1/2X24. This prop was recently repaired by Mark Croxton and had minimal cupping added. I also have tried an original Raker 14 1/2X24. I had a 6" jackplate installed and have adjusted up and down to achieve my best performance height which has worked out to be at 4" under centerline. I have also replaced the main fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump including the primer bulb. (old line ID = 5/16 - new line ID is 3/8) Have changed from factory recommended sparkplugs to NGK's. Ran a bottle of Johnson/Evinrude carb cleaner. I think that I still have a fuel delivery problem at WOT but I am not sure what to try next. There is still 2 hoses from the fuel pump to the intake manifolds that have not been replaced. Compression check indicates that they check out fine with all 6 being close to equal. I need some help here as to what I need to try to find those missing rpm's. Thanks
