    97' 150 Faststrike VRO/Fuel pump?

I went to the lake yesterday to find out that the vro has gone bad on my engine. It will not pump fuel. Is it possible to put an electric fuel pump inline and bypass the vro altogether? I already mix my oil anyways. If so, what is the best way to go about it? Thanks.

After doing some search through the forum I can see that hooking an electric fuel pump is a bad idea. Buying a new vro tommorow. Sorry guys, I'm new to the forums, I will do research before posting next time.

You can take the fuel side apart and check for a bad diaphram and parts are available.

I could only find the complete assembly quickly but hooked the oil side back up and it sure is convenient and the oil to fuel ratio is perfect.

Thanks for the tip. My mechanic suggested i replace the pump with a new one due to its age and hook the oiler back up on the new one. I've heard more good things than bad about the vro here lately, so i'm gonna give it a shot.
