Does a Louisiana resident going to fish Texoma need the freshwater liscense and the Texoma liscense, or can you just by the Texoma liscense if that is the only place you will be fishing?![]()

They way I read it is that if you buy the Type 208 fishing license, you can fish either side of Lake Teoma without the requirement of any other license or stamp. If you fish any other lake in TX, you need one of the TX licenses and a Fresh Water samp. The Type 208 license is good from date of purchase through Dec 31.
Now that being said, it may only apply to TX residents. OK governs the whole lake, so your question may better be posted over on the OK board.

I believe all you need is the Lake Texoma License. Call the TPWD regional office (903) 786-2389, and they should be able to tell you for sure.
Thanks for the info guys. Final verdict says if you are only fishing Texoma, you only need the $12 Texoma liscense.![]()
