Got a real good speed goat

Just back from NM. My buddy Doug got his first pronghorn a nice 73 incher. I shot a really nice one scored 81. 1 inch from the B&C book. Ill try again next year! After leaving the ranch just a few miles down the road we saw one that would score just around 90 inches. Photos to follow. It was a great time!

I was going to go this year but my military reunion was the same week and I need to make it. I'll be going on a goat hunt next year hopefully.

Larry I don't know what fats used to shoot with but earlier this year I checked on one of those hunts and the guide recommended a 25-06 or smaller calibar.

You told he it was 90 yards and you had to get out of the truck and run him out that far because you didn't have your gun sighted in for 35 yards.
