worked fine the other day,it will not go up or down like it has no power.it has three wires,red,blue,green,i traced them down to a black box with what looks to be two relays,one will click when i try up and the other will click when i try down but it will not move?it is on a 90hp Evinrude.
If you look further into the motor, you will see a wire that goes to the trim motor itself. You can follow it up from the motor, disconnect it at the block and measure the voltage there. The wires you refer to are the trim wires and go to the trim block green up red +12V blue down, all are tie into the relay block. My guess is either the battery is down or the motor needs a rebuild or replacement. CM

rebuild or replacement,were do you get rebuild kit and what do they run?
