Kentucky/Barkely Lakes
Anyone been out at the north end of these lakes and catching em? With the lake levels at winter pool and the TVA not drawing as much current, I am curious as to how the water if fishing. TIA Should state mainly interested in bass not crappie

I know that Saturday there was a tournament. Not even sure of the name but I heard 18 pounds won and 16 was second. Also heard that half the field skunked. We had a club tournament Sunday. I won with 4 fish that weighed 12.3. Caught them on lead in banks where the channel swung into the bank. Had one 5 lber. My co had 3 that weighed an even 9 lbs. He came in 4th. Out of 21 anglers only 26 fish weighed. We did catch maybe 10 short fish also. And I am optimistic that the fishing will keep improving as even the short fish where very healthy looking. Looked like they had eaten footballs. Apparently the shad spawn we noticed last year has improved the food base.
