Livescope box and internet cord/adapter length?

I have been looking at how I'm going to setup livescope with one unit, probably a 94sv. Anyway with where I have places to mount the LS box it will need to go in front of the driver's console inside the rod box. Is there any harm with using a longer internet cord (10-15ft) than what came with the livescope package (6ft)? Don't want to weaken any signal.

The other option is to mount the box right next to a Humminbird ethernet switch up closer to the bow. Would that potentially be an interference concern if I did that?

    Thanks for your thoughts...

My cord is 12 ft long no loss of signal. Garmin sells a longer cord.

My black box is mounted under my console next to Ethernet switch. No problems.

There are lots of things that can potentially cause interference. Hard to predict. Pretty much a trial and error proposition.
