G3 Ultra Mapping Satellite Imagery

How good is it? I see a few lakes in my area that say they have it, but some are so small and out of the way I'm skeptical they really have anything or are of decent quality. Wondering if its worth the $100 to grab the card with this new rebate that is out.

I would wonder if the images is on the water also or just the shoreline??? If its the shoreline, just a waste of money in my opinion.

I wish Garmin would allow us to make aerial images like Lowrance does......

Yeah thats the other concern. I assume on the water and shore since they own Navionics and thats how the few lakes in my state with imagery are represented with Navionics.

So you cannot load homemade satellite imagery files as an overlay on Garmins like you can with Lowrance?
