Depends on which HO you are talking about the Johnson Carbed or Rude DI HO. CM![]()
Nope! I'd change the LU fluid and have the compression checked! Strong motor I run a non HO on my boat and it is strong and very dependable!! Good luck, BTW welcome to the boards! CM

If the motor was winterized with fuel conditioner then all you need to do is what CM posted, if not, you will need to have the fuel system cleaned including the carbs.
If you can get some fresh fuel in the tank do so, also don't run the motor above 3500 to 4000 for the first 30 minutes to one hour, if you go out and run this motor wide open with old fuel you will be in need of a rebuild shortly after.![]()
