Central Texas Bass Club

I'm new to the forums but have been around and on boats my whole life. I've always fished but I've never had any pros like yall to learn from. I was self taught how to bass fish, so obviously I'm not the greatest. I was wondering if there were any bass clubs in the area. I'm from Elgin which is about 20 mins east of Austin on Hwy 290. I thought a club would be a lot of fun, meet some new people that enjoy fishing as I do, and learn from some people. Also a great excuse to travel to different lakes. Also if anyone is ever in the area and needs a fishing partner, my boat always has gas! Thanks

Welcome to the boards! Thats a far stretch to call us guys in here pros! I am still a rank amatuer myself and like you I am self taught as well. But thats whats fun about this sport, you learn something new everytime on the water. I dont live in your area but I know there are several clubs around there so pick one and hit the water. I just wanted to say welcome to the fold. You will get to sift through a lot of BS with us but everyonce in a while there is a tasty morsel of info that is knowledgable We are a fun lovin group here in the Tx BBC house.
