    Bugless in Midland.

Where to start? Well was fishing Basschamps this past weekend and had 3 decent fish, 30 mins before weigh in engine would not start. Just smoke like a freight train and never fire up. disconnected fuel line and cranked on it thinking it was flooded but it kept on smoking something ugly. About the time battery was fixing to die decided to try the old trick and disconnect battery cables and maybe ECM would reset or something. Thats when I noticed I took on alot of water!
BTW during all this I'm 30 miles up the Rio Grande! Put the cables back on and it fired up like nothing was ever wrong with it.
Needless to say I didnt make weigh in and I just wanted to go home so we loaded up and came back.
Took the Bug to Deans and while checking it out noticed the water came from the jackplate bolts having come loose and it damaged the area. Cosmetically lucky for me and not structurally, anyways they called Skeeter and they stood by it and just said send it and they will fix it ASAP and get me back in the water.
So I'm here without my Bug feeling like a teenager that just got dumped on by his girlfriend!
Hopefully I'll get it back before the 20th.

To be honest Mike, I'm not sure what Genmar boats or still in business. I don't think they are through shaking things up. But I got mine so I will just keep on clicking along.

I just might have to lower my standards a little and fish out of one of you guys boat for a while.
All my fellow Skeeter owners are exempt from this comment of course.

Cant fish with you cuz you'd never get on plane with my big arse.
Plus Danny would have to sit on your lap just to have a level ride.
Buahaha! made myself laugh just thinking about it.
    Just messing with you buddy.

I was wondering what happened to you. I was looking for you at the weigh in to see how you did. Tough luck on the Skeeter.

LM, you are more than welcome to ride in my Bug. Maybe we can make a trip over at Champion. I bet Skeeter doesn't have your rig more than a month. They try to get a 30 day turn around on repairs. I know what you are feeling. Dennis and Skeeter will take care of the Mezzzz.
