    Falcon Lake Sharealunker 1-19-10

Report from Robert Amaya at Robert's Tackle in Zapata.......

January 19th - Falcon's second sharelunker bass of the season weighted at 14.4 lbs this morning. It was caught by Bryan Aubin with a 6" watermelon red lizard in 4 ft of water. He was using 65 lb braid line. The fish hung him up several times but he managed to put him in the boat. The fish is doing great, and Texas Parks and Wildlife is on their way to pick her up. Thanks and good fishing!

Girth looks to be bigger than the length. What a pig.

Yep. That's about right. As soon as I leave, the fish move up and start biting.

Congrats Bryan, She is indeed a beauty. Mikekylake, Yes, we are blessed to be in what many of us call "God's country." I have been in many of our United States, and while I have enjoyed visiting all of them, I truly love Texas! I was born and raised here. I hope that you have the same feelings for whatever state you consider your "Home State."
