Lake Lewisville boat dock question!

Hey guys! My wife and I live in Lewisville and we have a powerboat as well as my bassboat. We have started to look for on the water storage for the big boat and the rental fees are crazy and we hate renting things. We have found a dock for sale up the highland village arm that is for sale. Pretty nice dock with two 28-30 foot slips. I called the owner and they said they want 80,000 for it it is just the dock it does not own any lake front. This price seems crazy high!! but we have no idea what something like that actually would go for. Do you guys have any idea what a dock like that is actually worth on lewisville? Thanks fellas!

There was an enclosed one that was new over at tower bay on the east side of 35e that two freinds of mine were looking at and they wanted $100,000 for it. That was 4 yrs ago.

Anything on a lake has gone crazy in the last 5-6 years. I was looking at waterfront lots at Moss lake up NW of Gainesville a few years back that were priced $35-40K. thos same lots now are $140K & up. Not to mention the property taxes for waterfront going through the roof.

First and foremost it may be ALL about the permit it has.............

I do not believe the Corp. of Engineers allows any NEW boat docks on the lake, and this one may have an existing permit. Just a thought
