hopefully someone can help me out changing the lower unit lube on my boat today and stripped the upper vent hole threads out on my gearcase i felt sick.looking for any advice to fix this problem.thanks

Helpfull friend will need to put a Heli-coil upper vent plug. Or buy a tap and flush the lower.
Plenty of grease on the tap to capture all the shavings you can, then flush as ChampMan said.....
