    Re: Lake Waco (rcclary)

Sorry I'm late Ray. Waco is full of top trash, even some small trees floating, all from the rain so be careful. The water level is still above poll. Fishing is a tad tuff. Work the riprap around the marina just north of the twin bridges. In the Speagleville III ramp area there are alot of trees and they are holding fish pretty good. It is just a slow bite right and you have almost hit them on the head.

    Re: Lake Waco (rcclary)

Actually the lake is clearing out a little bit. Was out there quite a bit in the last week. Mid to late last week, there was ALOT of stuff floating but Sunday, there were only a few things that I saw. Also, they shut down most of the launches but Twin Bridges, Speegleville and Midway are open. The water is still a little muddy though.
The fish are biting fair. I didnt go out first thing in the morning but closer to mid day and still caught a few and missed a big one. I lost it when it hit the net when trying to get it in the boat.

    Re: Lake Waco (Skip)

The tourney on lake Waco wasn't too bad alot of fish caught but short. The main bait was fluke chartreuse, 1/16oz weight on light line. There were three bass clubs on the lake on Sunday.
