Go through AT&T for everything. No contract and a good package deal.
Direct TV and AT&T. Don't fall for the $100 deal from Direct TV, you get $10 off your bill for 10 months.

I've had Dish for several years and really like it.
I have Dish at my place at Ivie and really like it. Will shift to Dish here when I find a good deal. AT&T DSL for Internet. Very happy with both.
Direct TV and ATT DSL , works very good for me.........and don't buy the expensive router for DSL conection.![]()
Dish for satellite and cable for internet.
Dish TV and local phone Co. for DSL - Verizon.
I've had Direct and Dish, I prefer DISH Network. My neighbor is in Satellite TV business for himself after years employed with the Cable Company and he chooses DISH.
We have two receivers at the house, an HD DVR and a regular one. The DVR serves our livin room and my sons room, he has a separate remote and can watch a different channel than whats on in the livin room. The other receiver I keep in my shop and take to the lake to connect to a dish I have mounted up there![]()
And the Kicker... we finally got Dish at work, but they just opted for the news / weather package, on nights and weekends I take my receiver to work and get all the programming I have at home![]()

Martha and Harriet must have been talking today because she came home saying the same thing. She got a new cell phone and ATT was talking to her about their DirectTV and internet services. I was thinking about going up there and talking to them about it.
Use Dish and the local phone company for DSL. I have a separate dish mounted at the lake, and a portable one that stays in my travel trailer along with an extra box that we can hook up to whichever one we're at.
Had Dish; they kept droppig PBR, I ain't going for that. A few months past and our phone/internet provider brought cable to the lake. I switched, get all three for $85.00 month less than I was paying for Dish and internet service.
Blessings
Gerald
I'm just tired of messing with this DVR box from Time Warner Cable. They have scheduled a tech to be here Monday morning and I either get sadisfaction or I switch, just that simple. I pay around $150 a month for TV, phone, and internet service. I don't have the premium package just and extended tv channel selection, basic internet, and nation wide free calling. No movie channels ect. I just want it to work right. By the way thanks for all the input, it has been very helpful.
DirecTV dropped Versus over a renewal deal a couple of months ago. Both sides are spinning it that the other is to blame. I wrote DTV and told them I was changing to Dish or cable first of the year if Versus wasn't back on Jan 1 for the 2010 fishing shows. Been a happy customer for 12 years until this happened.![]()
Reggie - You noticed that DirectTV laid blame on the provider for Versus because they didn't feel it was FAIR for the fee increase for us customers. They sure as the heck don't mind making us pay for a channel that we no longer receive. I sure as heck don't mind paying for an increase for a channel I am already receiving, rather that continue to pay the same rate for a channel I am no longer receiving.![]()

I just switched from Dish Network to AT&T Uverse. I am getting a cheaper deal since I bundled my phone, tv and internet all through them. It is 158 a month for the highest speed net, 400 channels, all the outdoor channels, showtime, hbo and cinemax come with it for free adn unlimited long distance. I thought it was pretty good deal. All that with free install and all HD recievers and a DVR that will play on all TVs in the house. Thats cool so I can watch fishing whenever I want to and not when my wife lets me![]()

I have DirecTV and IF I knew they were losing VERSUS I would get DISH network. I do like the football though. I have Superfan and see everygame I wish. Also I can input my fantasy teams for the week and receive updates via ticker on the screen when they do something..kinda cool. You gotta get the HD Recievers though...

Yeah, and you go to the Versus site and they say they offered DTV the same deal at the same price. So both sides are spinning it.
Direct TV and ATT DSL. But I am thinking about switching to Dish because of Verses. I don't watch it a lot but I did watch it and they carry some college FB games that I like to watch along with the fishing show..
