You talking about the corkpullin contest or fishing?![]()
Don't know it was a dream. But more like cork pulling probably.![]()
I bet they was all running around in their rubber boots w/ all the BS flowing......![]()
You and all that did not attend missed out on a very good time. We had a blast sitting around the burn pit swapping stories and pulling corks. We had 11 teams in the TX and the fishing was tough as expected. The weather was bitter sweet. The wind was light until about 10:30 and then it blew like crazy. 1st place was Team TX201 Chris and Gary w/21.69, 2nd place was Team Poormans Baits William and David w/18.57 and third place was Team Bassing Biker Greg and Bonnie w/14.56. Some people were so embarrassed they didn't even show at weigh-in. I won't say any names, Hugo. Once again It was a great time and I mad some more new friends.. I want to thank Corpuller for making the 7 1/2 hour drive and keeping us entertained. The man is a hoot. I will let the others tell you more.![]()

Jerry, To dispute your post on the coffee post eariler. Danny did not carry me. (not even to the room Friday night) I have you know I had the most weight in our sack. Once again I put him on fish and he can't manage to get a hook in them. We should of had a couple more fish. I told you what his new name is while we were at weighin. NFCBDB.

Oh yeah I remember, forgot about his new name![]()
I would like to publicly thank Jerry. I got to Ivie Thursday and Corky and I went way up the Colorado River fishing and hiding from the wind. After a bad day of fishing Troy and I are almost back to the ramp and an alarm goes off. My first thought is low oil. I check the reservoir and it is extremely low. Stupid on my part, I knowWe limp in the last 1/4 mile. Troy to the rescue. He has a gallon in his truck.
I pay the man and back in business. Wrong. Get up Friday morning and decide we will take both boats and show Troy some of the main lake. Wrong. Take off and alarm goes off again. I look back and it is not peeing very good. Kill and restart. Peeing great. Rev up not so great. Once again alarm. Idle back to ramp. Troy goes fishing and I go to Jerry's cafe and ask if he might have an impeller. He said no, but if you can get one I have the tools and will help you install. Great. After several phone calls I have the part at my house. My Pardner Danny is still in Abilene and is kind enough to go by my house and pick up the part before heading to Ivie. Not only did Jerry have the tools and help me with the install. He did 95% of the work and did it in record time. If you ever go to OH Ivie I highly recommend Elm Creek Village. Not only is Jerry's rooms and cafe great, the staff will do anything possible to help you out. A big THANKS to Jerry, Danny, Troy and all my good friends that helped out this weekend. Jerry you are the man..........
