Out From Under The Trailer- Part 1

Pulled starboard side hub and the rear seal was blown. Took rotor to get checked to see if it was warped. Was not. Replaces seal repacked and installed. Calipers are engaging and releasing fine. Going to repeat on port side tomorrow. Also going to flush master cylinder and lines. Not sure if it was brakes or grease smoking Sunday. But both side were hot, so I still think it is a brake thing. Might end up pulling calipers and flushing them also. To old to be doing this. Sure wish Stompy and Danny would help. Ron offered but he would expect me to wax his boat or something of that nature.

Now that is a friend right there. If it wasn't a half a day drive I would take you up on it just so we could pull some corks.

    yer a trip Ben Cartwright

Stomp, I'd really like to retire in a few weeks. Reckon I could hire on at the Ponderosa/JA and live out my final years. I'm qualified to operate heavy equip, and still hold my Class A license and tank truck endorsement. So I'm thinkin for just under 100k a year I could mow a little or we could buy a beer truck and I could operate it for special events. Do you have any ponds? I could feed the catfish. I can build a good campfire for yer hunters to enjoy and hang out with em and tell jokes. I'm versatile man Stomp, very versatile man. The Ponderosa would benefit greatly just from my presence. You would certainly be the winner in this deal, let me tell ya I'll stir me one more tonight while you think it over.....Boss & we'll work out the details and any special needs I might have later buddy, ok

Re: Out From Under The Trailer- Part 1 (Corkpuller)

Well that sounds real good there Corky except for the 100k. Got 12 ponds on the mini ponder and it is a job feeding the fish and gathering firewood and such. But I enjoy every minute, a lot of work here but I enjoy it so much I don't think of it as work. So if I hired you I wouldn't have anything to do except boss you around. At our age I don't think that would work for either of us. Also you being from the Pine Curtain, I don't think you could handle all the Big Sky and Sunshine. You might dry up and blow away.....
