....Hey Guyz....225 rude 1998 carbed....(e225stlecs).....Fresh rebuild and new VRO less then one year old.. All of a sudden the check engine light comes on when I put my foot to the floor..No problem up to 5,000 rpm @ 3/4 and not all the time. I have changed the fuel line and ball from tank to motor and inspected high speeds. Boat is a Javelin 400b. Anti-siphon valve is still in....Any thoughts??..<>rob<>
You might check this. I had a Ranger with dual tanks and a switch to go from one tank to the next. I changed tanks one time and did not turn the switch enough and the Check eng. light came on. What I'm saying is it could be something like this or clogged filter or fuel line. Low level of fuel flow will cause this reading.

done all most the same thing on my 362 ranger foot hit the fuel switch with foot, sucked fuel line together and alarm came on
