Just wondering what people were hearing.
Hearing about what? I fished it by myself. Prefished Friday and caught a few here and there. Biggest fish was 9.2 # ( my biggest Rayburn bass so far) Nothing even close on Saturday. Had 4 bass for a total weight of 9.22# Never failsI ended up 90th out of 215. 15.43# and up got a check.

I know two good fisherman that zeroed Saturday. They obviously found it extremely tough. They started in Veach and worked South, covering a lot of water. They were on 2 or 3 groups of fish a couple weeks ago. They drew 150, so didn't go to their "A" game first thing.

yeah it was tough for us too. Broke my motorguide on Friday, had to run back to Houston to get my partners Ranger. Had 1 of the fish we needed at the side of the boat, but we did not boat her. Ended up with 3 @ 6.91 113th place. Just not enough spots for us.

Thanks for the replys. I am curious as to what the top teams were doing to coax them into biting as I know many teams struggled. I dont mind when other teams beat me but it frustrates the heck out of me when the fish do....
There is a web site where you can get the results and interviews with the top 3 places. I went there but can't remember its address. If I find it I'll let you know. Most of the winners "said"they were throwing rattle traps from mid-lake and north. All of mine during the tournament came on red rattle traps. The 9 lb fish on Friday bit a Firetiger DD22 in 15' of water.

Go to http://www.fishingworld.com. This is where I read the results before they were posted on the Bass-N-Bucks site. Hope this helps.
