I have a 94 evinrude intruder model# E150gler Serial # G03560975
I have a 24 pitch raker on it. What is the max WOT Rpms I should be running without hurting the motor?
Would that change if I went to a 23P prop?
Thanks
Rob

5500 is the redline for that engine, I've seen 'em turn 5800 with the 23 pitch Renegade prop. I run a 26 Raker on my 225 @ 5700 rpms and a 27 Gade runs the same......
I routinely reach 5800 with the 24p raker and I have reached 6000 rpms before. Is there a chance my tach is off? I don't want to be redlining my motor.

I've seen the 150 fastrikes run between 5800-6000 all day long. but factory recommends 5500, so that's what I tell ya.....![]()

I would check the tach.
